Record number of votes received again!
A staggering 123,933 dance music fans voted in DJmag's 2005 Top 100 DJs poll.
That's 33,000 more than last year and a true indication that dance music is still a massive global phenomenon.
The truly global reach of DJ culture was once again highlighted with votes coming in from 147 different countries.
The USA provided the most votes in 2005, closely followed by the UK, and then Germany.
There are interviews with all 100 of the DJs that made it into the poll in DJmag's special collector's edition of the magazine. Out Now.

Wusst ich es doch immer. Aber unser lieber Armin auf Platz 3 hinter Tiesto ist auch sehr beachtlich. Was mich wundert: WTF macht ATB in den Top10. Ferry Corsten hat einfach nen richtig geilen Sound das steht fest und die anderen in den Top10 kenne ich leider nicht wirklich  Und Blank&Jones nur 7 Plätze rauf auf 31. Da sag ich mal: Selbst schuld wer nur son Ambient Müll verzapft hats net besser verdient 
Above & Beyond 20 Plaätze hoch: Klasse!

Hm, hatte für Armin ja auf was besser als Platz 3 gehofft. Aber nun, gegen PvD und Tiesto zu gewinnen, wär auch 'ne Sensation geworden. 
Für die Houser interessant: Deep Dish auf Platz 8 und Carl Cox auf 10.
